can planells is a gem in sant miquel de balansat. the peaceful and spacious rooms, incredible views, and amazing pool area exceeded our expectations. the friendly and attentive family team made us feel at home. we will definitely return for another relaxing weekend.

Wifi had challenges.

The double room at Agroturisme Can Planells was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a budget-conscious traveler like me. The room had a nice double bed, a minibar for those late-night snacks, and a TV to unwind after a long day of exploring. The air conditioning kept the room at the perfect temperature, and the bathroom was clean and equipped with a hairdryer. it was a great place to relax and recharge during my stay.

If I had to pick one thing, I would say that the room at Agroturisme Can Planells was a bit small. However, as a solo traveler, it didn't bother me much and was still manageable.

We agree on all positive reviews posted before. The big difference with loads of other accomodations is the hospitality and service ( beach-advise , restaurant advise etc. ) which make you really feel 'at home', a professional and friendly attitude towards all guests make the stay so much nicer, and Joan understands this as no other. For us this makes a huge difference and made our decision easy to choose for Can Planells. We will definetely return.

A peaceful retreat in a very pretty setting. The staff (Joan and his team) are very helpful and provide a feast for breakfast. The whole of the Island is easily accessible by car. There are some lovely local restaurants. My husband and I loved flipping between our rural escape and the buzzing port towns on the East coast.

The pool area was on fleek, perfect for chilling and getting our tan on. And the views? OMG, they were straight fire! We also tried the one-to-one yoga classes, which were dope. Doing downward dog with the valley as the backdrop was next level.

The only thing we'd ask for is a lit party scene for young peeps like us. It's all about the chill vibes here, which is cool and all, but we needed some wild parties to turn up the heat.

A Hidden Gem

We recently stayed at a stunning farmhouse surrounded by fruit trees and beautiful grounds. The pool was quiet and serene, often just for us. The little touches, like the afternoon lemonade and the incense sticks in the room, made our stay even more special. Joan and Maribel, the owners, were friendly and gave us great recommendations for dinner. The breakfast was incredible, with homemade pastries and delicious avocado on toast. We can't find any faults with Can Planells and are already planning our return trip. we highly recommend this magical place.

The decor at this charming country house is simply exquisite, with its rustic yet elegant touches creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The hotel's common areas are comfortable and spacious, providing plenty of areas to relax and unwind. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with easy navigation and no stairs to climb. It was a relief to feel safe and comfortable during my stay.

While the children working there were lovely and helpful, I would have appreciated a bit more assistance specifically catered towards senior guests. Perhaps some additional amenities or services tailored to our needs would have made the vacation even more enjoyable.
